The Student support team is an integral part of Linton Village College. The team comprises of non- teachers who are led by Ian Farr, it liaises closely with the college leadership team and other members of staff. The team is responsible for a wide range of support services including, Information advice and guidance, careers advice, advice on emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. One member of the team is assigned to each faculty and works closely with the Lead tutor and Head of Faculty.

 

The team’s task is to support students in their learning and daily lives by providing a variety of strategies to both teachers and students. Outside agencies are employed to work alongside the team in an effort to enhance the outcomes for students.

 

In addition LVC is part of the Linton and Sawston locality team who assist us with issues relating to health, attendance and family. This enables the college to provide a holistic approach to student welfare.
