The achievement of every single learner is what matters to us
Linton Village College is a co-educational comprehensive community academy, taking students between the ages of 11 and 16. There are over 800 students on roll. We are committed to maintaining a stimulating and lively learning environment: a place in which people can flourish. We offer the widest possible range of subjects and cater for varied interests. As a Village College we are at the heart of our local community providing leisure and learning activities to young and old throughout the week. Our links with schools in many parts of the world ensure that we are outward-looking in our perspective.
Linton Village College is an outstanding school in Cambridgeshire. Our most recent Ofsted report in May 2012 concluded that LVC offers 'an outstanding all-round education' and rated the college as outstanding in every category. Inspectors praised the curriculum and activities on offer, the quality of teaching, the pastoral care we provide and the exceptional standards that our students achieve in national examinations. In 2012 a record 92 per cent of students achieved at least five A* to C grades at GCSE.
